Headsets PMLN5096A, MDPMLN4606A and speaker GMSN4078B: sound for two-way radio Motorola
Task: to hear and be heard in the work
Two-way radio in the work is not only a transmission, but also a reception: to hear the call the first time in the noise of production or on the street is half the task. Motorola’s factory accessories solve it in three different ways: a remote headset PMLN5096Aheadset MDPMLN4606A external dynamics GMSN4078B. All three items are in stock - one set, for those who select interconnections for a specific task.

Two headsets - under different wear
The PMLN5096A and MDPMLN4606A are both Motorola’s factory remote headsets with a speaker and microphone on the cable: the two-way radio lies on the belt, and the conversation goes through the headset, hands free. The difference is in the configuration of the mount and microphone: one is more convenient when worn under clothing and on the chest, the other with a mount on the shoulder and a remote microphone closer to the face. The choice between them is on the equipment of the employee and the rules of service: someone is more important than secrecy, someone is more important than the quality of speech on the go.
External speaker GMSN4078B
The GMSN4078B speaker is for cases when the headset is not needed, but the two-way radio speaker cannot cope: the two-way radio is on the car panel, on the dispatcher's desk or in a noisy room. The external speaker connects to the two-way radio and gives a volume at which the call is heard through working equipment and people's conversation. This is a factory solution for vehicle-mounted and stationary scenarios, where two-way radio is used at arm’s length.
Why factory accessories
The headset and speaker are a two-way radio acoustic track: someone else’s connector gives bad contact, and someone else’s microphone gives deaf speech, which the dispatcher asks several times. Factory PMLN5096A, MDPMLN4606A and GMSN4078B are designed for specific Motorola connectors: connected – works, without fitting contacts and shamanism with levels. For the park, it's also predictability: all two-way radios sound the same.
Who needs it first?
The first is employees who need free hands: security, warehouse, production. The second is drivers and dispatchers who need to hear a call without a headset in their ear all day long. The third is work managers who wear two-way radio selectively and want to match interconnections to their own script, rather than the park average.
How to complete the package
To the headset or speaker is reasonable to add spare antenna PMAE4033 for GP340 and second battery HNN9009 Long shift. Positions available in the block below.
